True, but it will be much more critisized in the NFL or Major College Game. Minus the OUs, UFs, Bamas, NDs of the NCAA, this stuff happens all the time. NOT in the NFL. At least not very often.

The Colts still had their time outs. You guys assume the Pats would have made the NEXT first down.

But yes. Stupid call.

No we only had 1 left plus the 2 minute warning. As a die hard Colt fan
I can't tell you how overjoyed I was with that decision to go for it. I understand why he did it, but still the wrong call in that situation. To give
Payton Manning the ball on the 29 was suicide for them.

Only Bill Belicheck.

Point taken. If they had made the line to gain, it would be considered a great call.

Ya but didn't the play originate at OVER 2 minutes? It was the last snap before the 2 min. warning. So therefore, not a booth reveiw.

The rule is that if a play is snapped before the warning, it's considered before regardless wether it leads inside 2 minutes.

NFL already put out a statement that even if the call could have been challenged it would not have been overturned.

The only thing i've seen stupider than that call was when Purdue called time out with 20 seconds left in the game and Norte Dame out of time outs with a third and goal and rushing to the line. There coach said it was to save time for his offense.

To the op, hate to disappoint you, but the pats did not out play the colts. The end score showed who out played who. You can not play 45 minutes of football and expect to easily win.

I also hate to disappoint some of you pats fans, but the pats are not as good as you think they are. They have played crappy teams all year long. Backing into quite a few wins. Same thing with the colts. They may be 9-0, but half of those wins they backed into, playing against crappy teams.
