Thats awesome! I'm glad you guys met their goals! Thats awesome about your friends Hemi. Those magazine guys are always so nice. There were alot of them at TX2K12 the weekend before for the GTR guys.

Glad you enjoyed TX. We do have some pretty ladys here and the weather was great this weekend! 80s and sunny! Have they put out the date for the one in Oct?
Yep Oct 26-28.

My buddy Sam ran yesterday and set a new PB - 195.1. That makes him the 2nd fastest standing mile modern Hemi car. What a great weekend. I'll start a thread in the other car section to keep this one back on topic.

Speaking of back on topic, my diet has been dismal for this trip, but hey it's vacation. Back at it hard this week. Flying back to TN in about an hour and back to work.

Okay good thats not the weekend of my wedding. I'm putting it on the calander now so I don't forget! Thats crazy! I can't imagine going 195. I would be trippppppppping.

Sometimes a vacation is good for you. Keeps your body from freaking out.

I ate very well while I was sick last week and kept my calories down. Got to be careful with mine this week cause I know we are taking my Granny out on Sunday and there isn't a healthy thing in that resteraunt. But I'm happy to be working out again. Im in those last 5-10lbs before you get to vanity pounds and I lost two over the last month so I'm pretty excited.

Hi Everyone. I've been following along and am seeing some great progress.

This time of year gets crazy for me so I haven't been posting much but am constantly checking in.

My workouts have been great, I am reaching some of my heaviest lifts in several years, not bad for an old man.

Keep up the great work everyone!!

Nah I've been at a healthy weight since highschool (7yrs ago). But sometimes I'm at a better weight than others. Because of school I wasn't getting to work out as much so I was starting to have to wear a size 8 when I usually were a 4. So I just figured with my wedding and summer coming up I needed to get serious again. So I just cut TV out so I have time to study and workout.

My wife and I started the Jamie Eason diet and work out plan the first part of the the year. We are both looking amazing and we have transformed our bodies. Look it up. Its free and she provides you with a full work out regime and diet. If you can cook she gives you all the recipes. You will also save a ton of money. Both of us have to eat 6 times a day and we only spend $14 a day feeding the both of us. We do our shopping and food prepping on Sunday and have our meals packed ready to go for the entire week. No matter what your schedule is, you will always have the food with you. It takes getting used to but it just takes determination. Its all about being healthy and fit. If any of you have any questions let us know. We really have enjoyed it and it has brought us closer too. We are both still pretty young 28 and 29 but anyday is a good day to start.

Mark Thurman's six week body makeover. Similar to the guy above me...5 meals a day with the right food and light to moderate workout. Increases the matabolism, and just drops the weight.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been so absent, but I've been still hitting my workouts everyday and toning up pretty well, 6 weeks out from my competition and making some pretty good progress, its REALLY hard but I'm sticking with it and results are happening!! I've gotten really used to the diet, i just can't imagine not eating this way anymore, 6 CLEAN small meals a day for months, along with the high impact workouts makes a huge difference in your progress!!! Consistancy is what its all about!

this is where I'm at right now, this is last sunday at the beach!

Thats great, you guys sound like your on the same plan I'm on! It makes the week so much easier when you cook all your meals on your day off! I put mine in baggys and freeze them! Its the way to go!
