Tell me of a North American Ford dealer that wouldn't/couldn't wrap a promo opportunity (read: traffic builder) around the "ONE DAY-ONLY very special appearance of Mustang #1!!", gladly pay $2,000 (or MORE - chump change, relatively!) for that appearance, and smile all the way to the bank?

There's HOW MANY Ford stores to be visited over the next two-three years? At $2,000 a pop?

Do the math...

$300,000 was Grand Theft Auto, Version Gen-6...
I think you're really overdoing the significance of the 2015 Mustang. I get that its a new design and ford is trying to go global with this, but in the end its just a redesign. Did Ford make such a huge deal when the S197 mustang was revealed? Do you really believe people were dying to see #00001? Everyone knows what a mustang is. This isnt some brand new, never seen, completely world shattering car. Its a mustang.

This is not the same thing as the actual original #001 mustang produced back in 64'.

Tell ya what, you send YOUR missive, word-for-word, to Bill Ford-Edsel Ford-Alan Mulally-Mark Field-Jim Farley-Dave Pericak (firstname.lastname@ford.com), tell them you posted this on a CAMARO forum (http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=1#post7353413), and see what their reply is, or what's in your Christmas card, this coming December...

I noticed the 2015 Mustang GT sold on Barrett Jackson didn't have Brembo brakes on the rear.

I'll see your race-only 1-of-34, and raise you with a common 1-of-20, that was actually street-legal and available from any one of 6,000+ dealers:

Someone better get a new "handle". This will give Ford TREMORS, and RAM a Dodge into next month.

Wow, did this thread veer way off topic. I was at the Detroit Auto Show and took tons of pics including the 2015 Mustang. It's a handsome looking car no doubt. Enjoy.

More pics. I will say the rear is Camaroesque in person.
