Where did you get that from? The 370Z has a normally aspirated 3.7L V6.... Yes making 332hp...

it looks pretty good; it needs the new powerplant to keep up performance wise but looks wise i think it did the job

Jeez when you start pricing out this thing it makes the 2SS Camaro look like one hell of a deal. The price on the mustang sure went up and it comes with 15 more horse power than the V6 Camaro and 107 less than the SS. I'll stick with GM.

Mustang GT Premium - $30,095+Comfort Package (53B)- $575+GT Track Package (67T) - $1,445+Electronics Package (85X) - $2,700= $34,815
2SS= $33,430

I was pretty much set on a Camaro SS, but I find the new Mustang to have a much better car all around.

I will be waiting until the 2011 hits with the 5.0. Also, considering that the new Mustang only weighs in at 35 lbs. heavier than the outgoing Mustang, this thing has 300-400 lb advantage over the Camaro. If you track a car, you just can't beat a light weight car over a heavy weight car. You just can't beat physics.

Yes it still has an SRA. It doesn't bother me. I have driven cars with IRS and to be honest, I don't see what the big deal is. I have tracked my current Mustang with an SRA and I could not find anything wrong with it.

The interior has increased exponentially. I am so impressed with the quality and layout of the new car. The Camaro does have a nice interior, but I believe Mustang has bested it.

Sorry guys, but I feel that this is just a far better car for me. I still love the Camaro, but I just think that this Mustang is a total package.

Well at least you can get a red interior and navigation.

How is that possible? I give you a thumb down for excessive bias.

The V6 Camaro will not beat a Mustang out of the factory, but I'd be careful about modded ones. The LLT responds unusually well to mods.

The 5.0L Mustang is still as rumored as the Z28. I doubt that the hype around that motor will put it above a 2011 Camaro anyway. It'll make the race closer than it is now, but remember that the 5.0L will weigh more than the current motor. Maybe that'll take the chip off of the shoulder of current Mustang owners who feel that their lightweight but technically inferior Ford will win the scale. I'm sorry, but winning on the scale is not the same as posting impressive times at the track. If you guys really cared about weight, you'd all be rolling without back seats.

It is possible that the car is better for you. The ride will be different, although technically inferior; the heritage is Ford, not GM; the look is American but different than the alternatives; the underdog factory makes the Mustang GT a fun car to tune because it can be improved to outperform the competition and come back from behind.

I think they should have kept the old body style and just swapped engines. It is ugly as hell in my opinion. I really had hoped for more.

Well the rumor mill has started again about this supposed horsepower rating in the 2011 Mustang. Also the lighter car...this is only a refresh didnt really do much but change some body panels and even tho only gained 35lbs it still gained. IF and I say IF the "rumors" are true the talk is they will use the Aussie Falcon frame for the next version of the Mustang. It would then get the IRS but also be on a heavier frame and weight would go up. Take a look at the Falcon on The Aussie Ford website and see the weight mentioned there for the Falcon. You are probably looking very close to what the next Mustang will come in at weight wise. I say that the next gen Mustang comes in around 375hp and weighing in at that weight + or - a 100lbs. Remember tho this is only a rumor...now back to our regularly scheduled camaro programing.

I still haven't decided , but I do like the sound of a 5.0 being back were it belongs , the new styling is nice looks more aggressive like the gt500

I haven't decided yet on what to buy next , the new styling is nice and IMO looks more aggressive like the SHELBY GT 500 , and of course the power to weight advantage will be there with the new COYOTE 5.0

Fair enough. I guess I will be called stupid for talking about how I love the new Mustang on a Camaro forum.

I guess nobody can have a civilized discussion anymore.

How am I biased? I said I wanted a 5th gen Camaro. I concluded my statement by saying that the Ford Mustang was a better car for ME. I'm not here bashing the new Camaro. I love Ford and I love Chevy, plain and simple.

And no, the 5.0 is not as rumored as the Z-28. Just come over to themustangsource.com and you'll find a boatload of info. Do you really think that the new 5.0 will make the difference of 300-400 lbs? I think not. It will more than likely gain weight, but nowhere near that much.

I just feel the Mustang will suit me better and provide for a much more fun car.

You Camaro guys seem to have your panties in a bunch with the revelation of the new Mustang. What's the deal?
