On point, the new Ford Bronco will sell like hotcakes as Chevy misses the market again. The new "Blazer" will just cannibalize Equinox and Traverse sales as another SUV is an overcrowded mrkt of available choices.

They are killing the 300 I think. The former U.S. "Big Three" are giving up on the car mrkt. Big mistake if tastes and trends change and they usually do.

Guys...here is the breakdown of where the 2019 trucks are made. Remember, they are still producing (or at least as of the writing in which I found this article) last gen double cab trucks as 2019 models.

Eventually, they will wind the four plants down to three ending last gen production at Oshawa.

The below I found interesting as well, (from that web-site)

Why is the Index important?

Economic Impact:
The manufacture and sale of automobiles is a significant component of the U.S. economy. In 2016, the auto industry directly employed approximately 2.5 million workers and generated a record 17.5 million units in total vehicle sales, accounting for approximately 3.5 percent of the U.S. GDP. This represents a slight increase over 2015 sales which was the previous record. Of the 17.5 million vehicles sold in the U.S. in 2016, approximately 65 percent were produced in the United States.
As such an important part of the U.S. economy, understanding the factors that influence the automobile industry is not just helpful—it is essential. A vehicle’s domestic manufacturing composition plays a key role in determining its overall impact on the American economy. This knowledge empowers consumers and automakers alike to make better economic decisions about where a car is made, and which offer the greatest commercial benefits to the country.

Improving Upon the Label
One of the first things a consumer looks at while car shopping is the price and options label.
Since the enactment of the American Automotive Labeling Act (AALA) in 1994, automakers are required to provide information on the label detailing the amount of U.S. and Canadian parts content, the country of assembly, and the engine and transmission's country of origin.
AALA data, while useful, is not the most accurate means of assessing a vehicle's contribution to the U.S. economy. It presents a number of limitations; U.S. and Canadian content are combined into one number, and automakers are allowed to round-up a part that is potentially only 70% U.S./Canadian to 100% U.S./Canadian.

Kogod's method improves on the AALA data by incorporating a more comprehensive research methodology, providing consumers with a more accurate view of their vehicle's composition.

I'm not discounting the importance of the actual assembly happening on US soil, but it doesn't tell the full story.

Loaded is actually over 54 grand. Probably 56 or so if you add all the dodads like floor mats and powered tablet holder.

But the base model starts under 30.

If you don't want to pay 50 grand, don't tick the option boxes that send it high.

just glanced at the build and price quickly so not 100% sure, but seems to be a little pricier than the Ford Edge feature for feature in the mid range trims. Also IMO not a good look that the Edge ST is cheaper than an AWD RS

Now that's a nice commercial. I haven't seen it on TV yet (would need to be cut down by 30-ish seconds somehow for a normal TV commercial slot, but can be done). That should get the Blazer some attention.

Not sure what else you expected. 50K MSRP for a loaded up model is what mid-size CUVs go for these days. But as said above, don't tick all the boxes...OR just wait a little while and get one for under MSRP. Unless these sell really good and continue to sell good, you'll be able to fine ones marked way down. Its the GM way.
