Is the turbo in the new one better than the supercharged? Also which can make the most power and be reliable?

The reason I ask is the dealer I buy my cars from has a white turbo ss fully loaded and I could get a good deal because they had it for a long time. Do you know if they are having any problems with them.

I do not blame going to a TC, if I could afford, well, if I would to spend that money I would go the turbo route myself but at the same time its not my priority. I well probably get a TVS down the road and do internals and such and be done if I do keep the car aslong as I plan. Nothing wrong with the Wapsshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

No problems for the most part that I have heard of besides the rear rotor issues with them warping way to soon and such but dealers should foot the bill on that one. If I had known about them going to the Turbo before I got my SC I probably would of waited but I am too far into my SC build to toss it all away.

White SS/TC is limited edition pretty much if I can remember right they only gave them out to people that worked high up in GM..may be wrong???>. The only problems with the 08-09 is modding, The car is still so new that theres still "glitches" that are being worked out. Now that doesnt mean you cant mod it because I know numerous guys that have modded the 09's and havent had a single problem so I guess its pulling a string out of a hat.

yea, biggest thing with modding is the new ones are direct injected, tough to figure the fuel out after the impressive tune you can get for the #'s I said already. The turbo is maxed by like 25psi or so, most stay in the 24 range. After that I guess its upgrade . But since I do not have one, have a few guys in our club with them now though, I do not keep up with 'em. One of the guys has a silver 4dr TC, think is insane, complete sleeper for the most part if you have no idea about these cars.

I have a turbo version purchased in 11/08 (2009 model). So far I've had 0 issues. Some people had some issue with uneven and/or early rear brake wear-the rotors were being grooved. There was also a minor recall for the charge piping where they changed the clamping mechanism because it was blowing off on some people's cars. Simple fix.

It's fun as hell to drive. Some entertaining viewing to be had here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Venom525RWHP.

Haha wow man this kid has caused a stir with my car. I dont really feel the need to explain my car because it is my car and i really dont care what anyone thinks about it. Rice or not i built it for me and i have put in all the wrench time on it myself. The only thing i havent done is paint it. As for bodykits i always want to be different so when i wrecked the car when i was on leave back in WV it was way cheaper to get aftermarket than GM stuff and i am sure you all know that. I built the motor up on it before i did anything cosmetic. It always kills me when someone says something about the wing. It is functional and its not as high as the factory wing that came on it. Everytime i talk to people about the car i tell them you either like it or you dont theres no in between. I applaud the guys who didnt jugde it based on the exterior. I do this for myself and to show what our the possibilities of the Chevy Cobalts are! I am a die hard Chevy guy but i like modifiying cars. I guess i will end this by saying To Each His Own.
