How do I find out who the guy who got arrested is and who his lawyer is so I can get this video to him? At this moment things are sounding very sketchy and I would rather do this Anonymously now.
Local TV stations might help and let you stay anonymous. The can show the video and still pictures and everyone will see they are different cars. If they do, then someone who knows the person apprehended (or even their lawyer) will probably see it.

Or he will have every lawyer within 50 miles offering their services for free. Wrongful arrest suit will probably follow if true.

Wow, what a thread! Thread of the year.

You are definitely, literaly, helping save someone's life OP.

Your update is the reason, I dont like or trust cops. Hopefully a lawsuit ensues for wrongful arrest. Cant believe an officer would literaly be so pig-headed so as to not even want to hear you out / meet up and see the evidence and in turn, ruin some innocent man's life.

Keep us updated OP.

You gotta help the guy! I can't believe the LEO wouldn't even look at the footage, that is terrible, proabably is trying to save his own embarassment.

Go to his supervisor, up the chain. Someone needs to listen and help the innocent guy out. Put yourself in his shoes, wrongful arrest, so messed up!

Sometimes, getting an arrest is more important than getting the correct perp.... and this could happen to anybody.

Please be vigilant, MR. Sarge... we're all behind you, rooting you on. Zyborg is right, somebody's life depends on this: A wrongful conviction, surely a felony with speeds like that and evasion, will change--- ruin--- an innocent person's life. Right now, you are the ONLY thing standing between a felony conviction for an innocent, and real justice.

I'm hoping that people with more legal experience will chime in, and offer ways of finding the wrongfully charged person's name, ways to contact his lawyer/ public defender, etc. I also think that the idea of getting the media involved is a great idea. I have gotten video and stills of local events, which I have submitted to SoCal TV stations... not only do they love this stuff, but (not that this is your motivation) they will pay cash, too. THIS happens to be more than just cool video: It's a GREAT story, a thing the media would love to air and expose.

You need to try and talk to a superior officer first and then if they won't look at it -
Go straight to the media.
They will eat this story up !
With all the crap going on right now in the news, this will be a headline.

The media is probably the best option at this point

I am going to contact the supervisor on duty and let him be aware I have proof and if he says it is the officers discretion I will contact local media personally and hand it to them and ask them to help get in contact with the persons lawyer.

That just shows how much an arrest means to an officer vs catching the right person.

I hate to say it but IMO that officer should be fired or at least suspended without pay for a few...

So, I contacted the Chief Officer in charge, and told him I called multiple times and spoke with arresting officer and told him I had proof and he didnt want to see it, and said I have to file a formal complaint (online, or in person) and get it notarized and then it will be assigned to an internal affairs person.

(AKA we'll throw this in the trash) is how I understood it.

Looks like I will go to local media (all anonymously) because no way these are the same 2 vehicles. I will call each media channel and whoever wants the story can have it and my proof and help get in contact with the lawyer.

Shame LEOs act this way.

Thanks Guys!
I will update when I contact the media sources.

If I was in the same shoes, I would hope someone else would do the same. Can't just sit back and watch someone innocent go down for something some other jerk did and LEOs won't take any action.
