Get serperate banking accounts, split the bills and get a prenup it will protect both of you.

We have 1 account. I pay for everything out of it because my wife never paid her bills on time.

We do ask to spend money if it's over a few hundred but neither of us seem to really care in the end. Hell, if she traded in her car this week, I wouldn't even blink.

It's all good. You do what is right for you.
