Just be careful out there or I might have to 'smack you upside the head'...

As a paramedic of over 25 years experience, I understand what you went through... Not so much personally, but professionally...

But...........

I do have a question......

In all my years of practice, and in all my training....

I've never heard of treating heat exhaustion, heat stroke or any other heat related malady with a smack to the side of the head... I've asked a few fellow medics and they haven't either...

Is there something you would care to share with us...??? You may be onto something... Jostle the Medulla Oblongata with a smack to the side of the head, kinda like kick starting the regulatory system...

Thanks for the reminder though I've been cold and wet most of the day... I don't know who told you it's summertime, but I'm freezing... This may have something to do with me being well south of the Equator though.

We have 50 knot winds gusting to 70, and blowing rain... This wind is blowing untouched from the South Pole....My only risk of a heat injury is from spilling some really hot coffee on myself... The rig is rocking quite a bit, with the 25 foot waves...
