A real "man" respects the law.
I understand you were just ranting, and that's cool... but to assert that real men break laws is absurd.

For those that think the Camaro gets pulled over more than average you might want to look at this.

It's not like the tickets for modding your car are BECAUSE you modded it. The tickets related to specific mods typically have some basis in safety regulations (either for the public, or for the officers). It's not like they don't want you changing your exhaust, or putting on different wheels.

Sometimes, a person's falls on the very outskirts of the law. Like very mild tint, or some high quality after market lights. But, these laws prevent idiots with limo tint all around, who can't see where they are going, or who paint their lights to make them darker (and thus, people can't safely see them at night).

I'm a cop. I'm also a Camaro owner. I make decent money. I'm college educated and work OT/extra security jobs. Quotas do not exist. We are expected to make "traffic contacts" but they can not tell us how many citations to write. Doing such would result and lawsuits against cities from their LEOs. Some of the best dope arrests (meth) I've made have come off of expired registration, defective license plate lights, and OMG no front LP stops. I put together an ID theft case once with over 100 victims and 1000 pieces of identifying information. Came off a no front LP stop.

Again, reading comprehension gone wrong. I said as a man that I could not ticket someone for tinted windows, different colored lights, exhaust, ect. Most males at least know that some people like customizing their car, I personally would overlook certain things. Speeding is not one of them.

Wait...why wouldn't this apply to women? If a woman understands that some people like customizing their cars...does that make them masculine?

Or, it is womanly to give someone a ticket for customizing their car?

Thats why he pulled me over. he was right to do so. I think the biggest problem is that you think you are being targeted because of your car. I have driven nothing but Camaro / Firebirds since 1993, and owned our '69 since 1985 (and it was and is loud as hell, roll bar, NHRA lega into the 10's) and never once have I been stopped for anything that I did not deserve. You need to check yourself and stop blaming the cops for doing their job, and I promise, I am no big fan of the traffic cop, but I am realistic.
Once again, never blamed the cop. I was speeding and some of my mods are illegal. Just saying I think they can over look some of the silly things. I drove a formula firebird from 16 until I got this car at 25 and I got pulled over all the time, probably over 15 times and only got one ticket. Its known around here that cops pull over modified cars just to check them out (drugs, alcohol, ect.) and Im fine with that. I just used to get warnings for the silly things. Talked to my cop friend yesterday and he said he would never give someone a ticket for tint unless it was limo and never cited a missing front plate. He told me that cop must have missed lunch lol. Its really ok though, Ill pay and its over and continue the mods ; ) he was just doing his job (although I personally think he was overachieving haha)

I don't think a real "man" respects EVERY law, he may respect only ones that he feels should be respected. Some laws are absolutley ridiculous.

Otherwise those guys with white hair who signed that document somewhere on the east coast in 1776, I guess weren't real "Men"...

I have the lightest tint Z-Bart has to offer which isn't very dark at all and I haven't had a front license since I was 16 (27 now). I have had plenty of warnings about the plate but never a ticket because I think they kinda know it is phasing out in most states in the US. This guy wasn't the nicest either, no how are ya, have a nice day... I could kinda tell it was more about the car I was driving (I do have mods). Plus today is the 30th.. everyone says there is no quota to meet but I see lots of lights toward the end of the month

Just had to get that out.. thanks!
Well its YOUR fault dummy. You shouldnt've been doing 34 in a 25.

25MPH is typically residential side streets...homes, schools, etc...certainly not main roads.

So this man was driving 45% over the speed limit in a (seemingly) residential area.

What you think and what the law says are two different things. A real man might fight to have laws changed or modified, but he would not knowingly break laws. Criminals do that. Men work within the system if change is required. There are reasons for laws regulating speed, license plates, and window tinting. Obeying the law is not hard to do once you put your big boy pants on...

They will usually over-look it all unless they pull you over for speeding. At that point, depending on the officer, they can ticket you for everything. But generally speaking they are not going to pull you over for tinted windows alone. I was let off with a warning for going 50 in a 35 because my wife was sick and had left her insulin at home. So I was moving it. The officer that pulled me over let me go once she found out why I was speeding.

And if I needed to get my wife or kid to the ER. I'd take them myself. Faster than waiting for an ambulance. The police are free to arrest me when I get them there.

I think you missed this part of my post:
"Otherwise those guys with white hair who signed that document somewhere on the east coast in 1776, I guess weren't real "Men"... "

These guys BROKE the law, but I would still consider them men, changing and modifying laws is not easy in case you have ever tried...

But anyways, so you mean to tell me that you never sped once in your life? Even 1mph over? Changed lanes without signaling? Or signaled less than 300 feet before a turn? Everything on you car is 100% legal? That you obey EVERY law to the full extent of the law? Yeah I didn't think so, guess that makes you a criminal too.
