The sharpness on the X1 version is due to the upscaler chip. Although it is not perfect you can see this by looking at the crane on the X1 version. The jaggies you can see on it are a combination of the chip and Anti Aliasing which is lacking on both consoles.

It's because the Xbox One scaler crushes blacks. It looks better to the untrained eye, but it throws off color saturation; I'm making this judgement as a photographer and not a fanboy.

There is actuallya setting in the menu to deal with that, but your right default it does crush the blacks

I doubt the average person even knows what it does though, so most comparisons will have crushed blacks.

First thing I did after installing the game was adjusting the display through the system settings. The walk through is actually really straight forward. Took about 20 minutes to tweak the TV and the display is amazing.

So after a few months now, what's the verdict? Ps4 or xbox one?

Neither. Wait it out. Unless you're dying to play Forza or Titanfall which are the only games that are worth playing right now.

Don't need a next gen console to play Titanfall. But yeah, probably best to wait a bit longer. Forza and Infamous are the only things worth playing that are strictly next gen.

You basically do. The 360 port is most likely going to be terrible, simply because of the amount of RAM TF uses for textures.

And the 360 version will not even be made by Respawn like the XB1 and PC version are.

Just bought a ps4 today... It's alright so far. Converted from a 360 - don't need the full entertainment center, just gaming, so didn't go for the one. Now just need some games that interest me

360 version isn't even out yet. I was referring to the PC version.

You can play Titanfall on PC and not need a nextgen system.
