JL: We are evaluating whether diesel application will be accepted by customers. We look at performance, we look at cost, the value proposition for the customer, stay tuned at this time.

Guess that's better than just a straight no.

Usually when GM says "Stay tuned" it means something's at least being considered, if not already in the pipeline.

Like all the answers to the 8-speed transmission questions. "Well our 6 speed transmissions are specifically engineered to work well with our new trucks, but we're always looking at ways to further enhance our powertrains, so stay tuned."

Pfft I know you have an 8 speed in the works for trucks as we speak.
