All that you guys are saying about the Camaro and Mustang in the 80s is true..but at least in the 80s and early 90s...the Mustang simply flat out kicked the Camaro's ass in my opinion. It looked as good and/or better depending on your taste and performance wise it was hands down better. Better from the factory and easier and cheaper to modify.

It was a great car in the 90s...kind of went sideways in the mid to late 90s and even early 2000 but the redesign it got good again in my opinion. Today I think it's a pretty close call between the two and the Chally is a player too. It's great that car guys have so many options today because for many years all we had was either a slow ass Mustang or a not much faster Corvette.

you loved mustang and Camaro?
the third gen was designed beautiful. the mustang was a car that was born boring in 1979, and they tried to do something with it.

yep, loved the euro look the Stang had (especially the LX coupe with the pony rims) and loved the Camaro too (especially the 91-92 Z28). Like I said though, the 91-92 Firebirds were my favorites.

Firebird's allways looked great. Look at an 82' Trans Am and it looks like it just rolled off the line today.

I think the early 90's 5.0 LX trunks were far and beyond the best straight line performance car for the money for a good ten year run. Throw in some nice aftermarket suspension bits and they handled amazing.
