Thanks, Mike!

Hopefully things will cool down and we'll see you out at Lapeer! They have a couple things going on out there in September...

LOL! Porsche owner came over in the pits to find out what I had done to the Flex... We talked for a bit... cool guy... he was acting pretty stoic, but think he was pretty disappointed... I mean, he did lose to a Flex after all... LOL

Went to the track today and I dragged the Mrs. along to try and get some video of the Flex going down the track. Not bad for her first time trying to video at the track! So now I know what the Flex looks like going down the 1320'!

Best run of the day was a 13.013 @ 106 against that convertible Mustang. He ran a 12.48... He came over after we ran to find out what I had done to the Flex... He was shocked I was "on his bumper" the whole run! He said when he pulled back in the pits his buddies were asking him if he had a flat tire since the Flex appeared to be hanging with him! The driver admitted that him and his buddies were all thinking I was going to run a 16 or 17 when I rolled past them! LOL!

Track photographer just put up this pic:

Now just get real dark rear window tint and gut the interior. Then spray a nice little 75 shot and bang, low 12s. Then come up near me and we'll hustle people in the bx LOL

I haven't been able to post 12's yet in my SS. Congrats! EcoBoost may prove to be a good option to offer in 2014. Okay Chevy can rename it SS-Boost.

There you go!!! Of course I can't do those cool smokey burnout's like in your sig!!!

Ok... made 3 more 12 second passes today!!!!

Discovered something new today!!! Was stuck at 13.0x all day yesterday and then this morning, i was still stuck at 13.0x!!! I noticed my IAT was still 100+ degrees even after my cool down. Now I'm talking about the FIRST IAT sensor! This is the one right by the air filter... I ASSUMED it really didn't matter to much since it is so early in the air flow... i mean before the turbos, before the intercooler, before the HOT intake manifold... so I really didn't think that 1st IAT sensor would have much effect... WRONG!!!!

I ICED down the air filter box and the tube hold the sensor... brought it down to just above ambient temp (82 degrees) and BOOM 12.962!!! With a DA of about 2400!!! Needless to say I was SHOCKED!!! I never imagined that first IAT was that important!! Learn something every day!!! LOL!

Thats awesome John! Looks like you've found some interesting info for the Flex boys just like you did early on for us Camaro V6ers.

Congrats on those great runs.

Thanks!!!

Was thinking about doing an IAT relocation on the way home... even talked to Scott... BUT I like the idea of just using Ice, and not having another mod! LOL
