Steve Saleen was speaking to a crowd of Mustang guys. He sells a lot of stuff to Mustang guys. What else would you expect him to say?

Who realy cares what Steve Saleen says? We already internet bash the horseshoes off the Mustangs around here. When the Camaros hit the street we will blow the Mustangs off the road in real time.

I just can't get myself worked up defending the honor of the Camaro from the Mustang crowd. It isn't even a contest.

What was that we like to say around here? - "Don't confuse competitors with equals".

So Saleen built the Camaro?? So now who's GM's BITCH then?? LOL!!!

I ordered the SS cos it has the SS badge on the rear to signify "Steve Saleen" is ALWAYS behind me!!

Saleen built the body for Bumblebee around the GTO chassis for the movie.

they never built a camaro.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: in all the racing I've done... on the street and at the strip... I've NEVER lost to a Saleen Mustang... maybe its the drivers... maybe its the cars... but in 2002, a bone stock Z28 (well, ok, I had a flowmaster muffler on it) driven by me out ran a supercharged S281... and I dont forsee there being any problem with the 5th gen beating Saleen Stangs, either.

at least the Roush Stangs have a chance of being fast... I've seen them get some good times and be well driven on the streets... but, in all honesty, I've raced one in my '99 FRC (which is stock except for the tune) and the FRC walked the Stage3 from a 60punch... the owner didn't want to run again and exited the freeway.
