New Iphone

Shoot, your phone will be worhless in 6 minutes. Good heavens the consumer public is so full of anxiety.

God help us if all we needed was a phone.

And Yeah I am an old guy. I have both PC and Mac, I have Ipad, I have 4g Sprint Phone (Android), I have an Mp3 Player......

It is all becoming a damn money pit.

Thinking of starting to cull the herd of clutter and simplify life .......

Hmmm,,,,, Drop Satellite TV, drop Cable, Drop a lot electronic gizmos, that really don't add anything but clutter to my life.

Sorry, but I have both the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S II in my hand right now. Side by side on the table they are absolutely, equaly as fluid. You must be confusing the fact that things have to travel further to cross the screen on the S II.

I've opened the camera, went to e-mail, opened browsers, navigated through just about every operation in front of me hitting the buttons at the same time and they are identical in response and motion.

Only thing I give the iPhone over the S II right now is the screen. (I can operate th eiPhone with one hand. I have small hands) I think I may prefer the smaller screen. But everything else is the same as far as operation.

I'm enjoying this so much better because it's so customizable.

My fear ever since I got the first iPhone on the first ever launch day was that no phone could operate as smoothly and efficiently. And so I kept the iPhone. I now see they are eery bit as good. It was really nice to be able to go to a freinds house and grab some of his music of his computer and put it on my phone.

I'm NOT trashing the iPhone. I've been an avid iPhone fan longer than anyone could be. I got my first one on launch day of the first iPhone. But I'm liking my new phone much more.

We preordered 2 from AT&T. I called to see why it had not shipped. My order numbers are 60 and 62. Yes, that is what I have to put in to track them. They told me they would not ship for about 14 days. They are servicing walk up customers first, then shipping the preorders in a few weeks.

EPIC FAIL!!!!!!

I paid them on 10/7, and won't get it until about 11/1. This sucks!

I pre-ordered them on 10/7 also, and they arrived at the house 10/14 (they're being shipped from my permanent address to my apartment right now). Sounds like someone's giving you bs info.

BTW, you order numbers don't quite look right. My order numbers were 11 digits long.

Those order numbers are correct. They are on my receipts and they are what I am using to track the phones which still show in progress.

The info provided about the shipping time has been given to me by 3 different people at the customer service phone number - 611. One was a supervisor. I also went to the store and they told me the same thing. I can buy the phone today for the full retail price though!

I am on the phone right now with them to find out how much it will cost me to cancel all 5 phones we have on the account. I would rather go to Verizon and spend $700 more just to show AT&T I am not happy. Sorry for the rant!

So you ordered from an AT&T store? Your situation definitely sucks. I'd be upset too.

I am canceling all of my services now. I guess we have 4 new 4S's in our future at either Sprint or Verizon. This is just my stand against the MAN (AT&T)!

I'm stuck with ATT because I need to be able to send texts, be online and talk at the same time. Only network you can do that on. Plus, I have unlimited Data, talk, text, .... grandfathered in.

I also have the unlimited. The phone line just told me that they cannot cancel my orders. I will have to wait until they come in, then return the phones. And since when they come is is over 7 days from when I ordered them, I have to pay the full cancellation fee for both lines.

AT&T STINKS!

AT&T STINKS!

I can't honestly say anything real bad about ATT. I went over minutes a few years ago and had a phone bill that was going to be 1200.00+ dollars that month. (teenagers and summertime lol). Out of the blue they called me and told me I could upgrade my plan to cover it. I got online and it was true. They could have made me pay it. Not sure why they didn't but I was grateful.

Do u have an iPad? I'm currently on mine. Just got it on Friday. Just from using it for 30 minutes or so, trying to get used to typing with it. Then I went to my iPhone, and wholly crap, did the phone feel a lot smaller. Lol. I thought it was pretty crazy.
