Both sides ****ed up the case. Prosecution didn't prove that she killed her (it was pretty hard to), and the defense didn't come up with anything to help Casey defend herself. Seriously how the hell can you not come up with a story. I got a ton of them she could have used that I could help you make it plausible, and one of them involved Casey's father being her pimp. The defense won because the prosecution sucked more (though it would have been hard for them not to).
