Saw it yesterday...

1) Good but not great (like #1).
2) Chick was hot, and def. a better actress than fox, but fox is, well foxy.
3) Long movie, kinda all over the place.
4) Felt like I was watching Battle: Los Angeles or Fallen Skies for the last hour.
5) Wasnt funny at all.
6) Prime gets caught in a bunch of wires WTF?

Saw the film in 3D (don't usually watch them) but it was good. Way better than T2 - equal with T1..

Bring back the "Original" Bumblebee, please..

So here is something I am confused about or maybe missed.

Remember when the Autobots come to earth they have to scan stuff in order to take the shape of things? You see this then the Decepticons arrive, one scans a garbage truck, takes on its "form", transforms, then drives off.

Well when they find Sentinal Prime in the Arc, he is already "colorful" like Optimus is. Next scene is he is at the NEST base in stasis so he would not have a chance to scan anything. He is still "colorful" and we see when he transforms he is that emergency vehicle.

So my question is how in the heck can he be found and already have scanned something?

Btw good movie, liked it better than two not as much as one. The chick is much better than Megan.

Cheers
K

As a true Transformers fan was kinda disappointed. The movie overall was good and from the crowds reactions was enjoyable. Maybe Im nitpicking but way too much about the human characters, which made it about 45 mins too long. But one of my main problems with all the movies is how weak the Transformers in general seem to be. I mean some of them are being taken out by humans alone. In the Cartoon no way in hell a Transformer let alone a top transformer Prime Megatron Starscream ect would be challenged whatsoever by our army per say. Almost feel like we would have won the battle whether the autobots helped us or not the way some of the seals took a few of the decepticons out.

I do agree with this. In this movie, I felt that too many strong Transformers were taken down by humans alone.

I would agree with this if not for how they set this up in the first movie. They learn with Scorponok the the Sabil (sp.) rounds with high temperature can damage the transformers, so it makes sense that in the six or so years since the first movie takes place tat the military would have made more advanced weapons. Just my opinion, I still think it is better for the transformers to duke it out with each other though.

Saw the first show this past Monday morning in 3D. I went in with an open mind and like this one better than the 2nd one, and slightly better than the 1st one. May have to go see it again.

This was my first movie in 3D, so it will probably hold a place in memory for me. Hopefully one of many 3D movies I see! Overall it was pretty good. If you like either of the first 2 movies, go see it!

Spoiler don't read unless you want to know what happens.

Saw it last night pretty good give it a 7/10. Was weird not seeing Megan Fox up there, but the girl (Rosie Hunington-Whitely) did alright. I like how they made her British so she didn't have to suck at trying to do an American accent (Shes a British Victoria Secret model). Her part could have been left out and it wouldn't have subtracted anything from the movie. She was basically a sex symbol and every time they showed her it was in some sexy pose and or tight dress that accent her umm assets?.

Anyways outside of that the movie was good, better than the second probably around the first. Story was a little better though I hate how they keep going back to the space program from like 40 years ago to give it background. They did the same thing in the first one, and they keep telling half of the story of the war of cybertron, would have been better if they knew this was going to be a trilogy and actually put everything together. It felt to much like these were 3 separate movies with 3 different background stories.

Action was good, then end war was good. A little to long for my tastes as they probably could have cut down some. Was funny in parts and sad in others. Would have liked to see some autobots die considering it was like 200 vs 9.

Enjoyed it, recommend it, but this site seems to be the only ones that didn't think it was garbage.

I saw it in IMAX 3d as well, it was awesome and well worth the wait. I had been trying to see it since it opened, but it had been sold out. Monday was the earliest I could get in to see it.

T3 in IMAX 3D, AWESOME

Being seniors we got the daytime discount so that made it even sweeter.

Where to start.
This movie really started promising. Really was looking like the best one. The moon stuff was awesome. Inclusion of The Ark, The Matrix of Leadership and the Space Bridge (all in the comic) were awesome. I was thinking ahead to getting this on dvd. Then..
Then the humans came into it. You know i've been hearing for years that The Phantom Menace is a bad movie because "Jar Jar is annoying"
The human beings in this movie, aside from Josh Duhamel maybe, are 100 times more annoying. Not even remotely close. There's a scene when one of these idiots gets thrown out of a window and i literally clapped. Then there's Shia or Sam or whatever. I don't know how much of Shia is in Sam, but if i knew someone who was friend's with him i'd say 'dude, what's wrong with your friend?" I've seen other movies like this in recent years where they put annoying people in, as if annoying and funny is the same thing. I mean there were several scenes with Sam where i just shut my eyes. i was thinking when i get the dvd i would skip the chapters with humans, but then it just got to be where i couldn't see myself watching it again. By the time they get to the serious part and there's serious music and everyone is sad i was thinking "are you serious? you've just annoyed me for an hour, now you want me to care about these people?"

BumbleBee was cool. Also noticed The convertible Stingray concept and Dempsey's character had a classic Sting Ray racer from around 1960.
The rest? annonying. if not for having a date i might have walked out

OK I was sort of put off by the whole StarWars plot of the darkside/decepticons
had all 3 movies pre planned out in some big elaborate plot to make the good side do what they want.

Problem is no way on part 2 would megatron nearly die if he had some bigger plot at hand. They would of wanted to lose in both part 1-2. but 1000% for sure he would of took off like the coward he is at the end of part 2 before prime cut half his face off.

girl was only hot form a distance, them close up fish lip shots made me soft.

plus the StarTrek reference was mega lame

And has to be a part 4, to many bad guys still left all over the planet.

Noticed that T3 stole bridge footage from the Dark Night movie.

when joker makes threats on bridges n tunnels, the long shot from the air of the bridges is used again in T3.

Funny whe my mom watched it for the first time she asked who this skinny big lipped chick was that replaced the old girl
