Europe is on today I heard. PSN is ready to go online but the US gov't wants full reports before they'll allow it back on here. From what I'm being told there will be a MASSIVE download that may take all day to go through before you can change your password and get on. Also the store might not be up but the playing should be fine. My friend says maybe tomorrow but now that it's in the gov'ts hands instead of Sony who knows.

I gladly pay the $50 a year for the added security. In all the years playing, I have never seen xboxlive go down and become unplayable.

Yeah, I managed to make it about 3 years without one. Then I managed to find another of the old style 360's, which RR'd about a month after I got it. Gave it back to the store and got the new slimmer 360 which is pretty nice.

Sony's getting hit hard apparently, even SOE got taken down. So no MMO's for Sony too.

XBL crashed for 2 weeks over the christmas holidays in 2007 or 2008, so you must not have been gaming very long lol and the $50 a year subscription has nothing to do with security. Also Ultimatley Microsoft is a software company and Sony is a hardware company.

And yes he is part of the PSN Outage and part of the group of people that is confirmed they jacked his identity... told the poor guy "hey someone needed a lifetime supply of tampons" LOL

I've been lucky with this and haven't seen my account get hit. I've also only used psn cards. That still doesn't mean that with the info they did jack, they didn't get my card number and all that and make purchases, though I have been checking my credit cards at different times of the day, almost everyday!

These people need to get a life. I am sick of this crap already! Had to change my credit card because of it.

What else do the authorities need to do to put these clowns in jail.

Im pretty sure that sony already came out and said that peoples credit card info was encrypted so they couldnt see the numbers and stuff. Even the passwords for peoples info was set up in a way u couldnt see all the letters or numbers but not encrypted.

Yeah they do. We live in a cyber age and we need cyber crime superstars taking these ******s down.

A third attack? Really? Publicizing people's info?!! How is f'ing over the people who they say they're advocating for supposed to gain support? They're little ****** pussies who think they're the shit cause they live code. Real men would use it to get them legal money and advance security, not demolish random people's personal info.

Is this all because ps3 no longer runs Linux?
