Remember this, those who make you mad have you in there control.Again it's all about having a little fun boys poking at each other.I belive the new camaro is going to be a great car.But it will never have the fanbase of the Mustang.No matter how much HP we put in our cars its all about what sales on Monday.The Mustang as been very successful,1980 ford took over the performance car market and 1986 thats whene i jump ship.I have never regreted it. Nothing sounds better then a Mustang with flowmasters eventhough i was driving a 1984 Monte Carlo SS.

The GT500, or an uplevel Camaro don't mean much to me anyway. When it gets 45-50K i'm buying a Corvette.

While it may not be a fair comparison, at least Ford had the balls to build it. For us Camaro faithful, we get to create and read 100+ page posts as to why there should be a Z/28 then try and justify why its OK that there isn't one.

As for the Mustang kiddo...I'm pretty sure nobody here cares about the Mustang's fanbase. We had our mullets, now you can have yours. You have your aftermarket for your menopause woman's mid-life crisis car and that's swell. Eventually we will, too...but ours will actually make the car faster and not louder.

I mean, how hard is it for GM to simply have them install the LS7 or LS9 from the factory on a case by case basis..I'm sure plenty would order it and it would match up nicely with the GT500...

Yes, I know...our day will come and there will be tons of reasons why the Mustangs are still better. Like dating your sister...that's not nearly as cool in a Camaro.
