I like how they have the weapons racks and displays on the walls now, pretty cool. The house you get in Windhelme (once fully furnished) actually has mannequins that you can put armor on and such

This is one game I can def enjoy without any pressure. I play on expert setting because master is just too damn hard(must be for the hardcore players). So I usually end up wandering around the area for hours on end, even tho I initially started out on a quest for something......

You get all of this, all crafting stations, and combat ready assassins with the Dark Brotherhood =)

I got my house at level 12, I think. I earned it at level 3 or 4, but didn't have the coin. And even when I did, didn't know who to talk to to buy it hahaha.

Favorite part of having a house is the security of all of the stuff I horde. I'm about to finish my last Thieves Guild quest and take control of that. Dark Brotherhood will be next.

The Mrs. is sitting here right now creating her Dark Elf haha. It's taking her some time...

With the weapons rack in the house, I've never figured out how to use it... any advice? I don't get an option to activate it on my PS3 (like I do a bookshelf).

Oh, and Nightingale Armor FTMFW!

Just bought my first home in Whiterun. Joined the Companions. Working with the Greybeards right now and doing their longer quest now that I just learned the first couple of shouts. I also got attacked by my second dragon, and somehow managed to kill it after going through all my health potions. It was on the path to the High Hrothgar, and the poor lady that was meditating at a shrine died. I guess that was her path...

The game is awesome!

How can you level speechcraft fast? I notice it levels when I sell to vendors. Has anyone put any perks in speechcraft...if so which ones?

Just rented it from redbox, seems cool but feel like it's going to take more time to play and enjoy than I have to put into it- will give it a few days

One thing about all the previous Elder Scrolls games...it does take a lot of time if you want to really explore the worlds. I really do think they did a pretty good job with Skyrim though.

Just killed my 3rd dragon at the College of Magic. I'm now level 17, and slowly going up in levels. Money isn't as much of an issue in this version than it was in previous versions.

I've really only leveled speechcraft when buying and selling items. Also, the few times I've tried to persuade and intimidate in conversation has garnered some xp. Speechcraft may eventually be the skill I start putting 5 points per level into, though I've been doing it with sneak.

So here's what I did tonight...

Being sneaky, I need to raise my illusion. So I found I could gain skill in Illusion by casting Muffle over & over. I was also in the Bards College when I did this so I would just train Speechcraft while I was there. Got expensive, but I had saved up some gold ahead of time for this. Got a tone of speechcraft was at 60 by the time I was done, and Illusion was 50.
