That can be a hard one, I have know allot of folks only online for many years. And it can be hard when you find out you only have the one intrest and would probaly not be friends if you didn't just talk about the one subject all the time. Which is both good and bad depending on how it goes

See how that works? To each their own.
Well at least you are getting out and meeting people and doing something rather than just shutting everyone out. Yeah, to each their own, but he has a problem.

Contrary to popular belief, it is quite possible and in fact common to both play WoW and have a normal social life. Of course there are those that are complete shut ins living in parents' basements as per the stereotype, but I'd say that's a small minority. You can over-do anything.

Agreed!! Most everyone I know that plays are regular people. I have 1 friend that has a family member that totally fits the stereotype. A brother and his wife both live in moms basement and do nothing but play WoW. It's funny how that's the stereotype and it's an insanely small % of the player base..... I know almost every person in my guild on personal level, we're a small guild only about 20 people, and all of them are normal well adjusted people most with families. We're adult only and most of us know each other because of an adult gaming forum.

So far I'm liking 4.1

ZA and ZG are nice rehashes. Some people don't like recycled content but I think its fun to go back through places you know and experience them in a new way. Most of the bosses seem really difficult at first until you understand the mechanics. Then they're pretty easy. They want these two zones to gear people up item-wise and skill-wise for raiding. Several of them have abilities very similar to raid bosses.

The only thing I don't like about this patch is they took away my cash cow I used to buy gems and ores under a certain price and cut them to resell to a vendor for 9g. Now they made the cut gems value only 75s!!! So now I have to find something else. Rare quality red color gems (Inferno Ruby) have been inflated pretty high on our server so I'm making a little bit of money off those. But otherwise there's nothing as easy as it was to buy, cut, and vendor the green quality gems :(

Haha nice reply.

I play WoW, it doesn't rule my life though and I'm not bad enough at the game to need to buy Gold. I'm pretty efficient at making my own.

Start saving cash for a SUPER computer or hope they fix performance. My wife has been in a few of the betas for SWTOR using an relatively new Alienware and I found the game to be unplayable. I also hope they avoid the mistakes of Star Wars Galaxies. Fortunately for me I have a Camaro to play with because I'm a Mac and no go for the SWTOR. I hate booting windows even at work.

meh...alienware does not necessarily guarantee good gaming performance. Much cheaper to buy parts from newegg and build the PC yourself. But yeah, I would expect that they'll get the peformance issues smoothed out for final release.

Been playing my DK a bit, grinding rep for the epic tanking peices. My guild is a top tier raiding guild. They kept me on the roster since I helped them get several server firsts during WOTLK, but they're waaaaaaaaaaay overgeared and raiding constantly now for me to have much fun playing with them.

Then again the level 25 guild perks are NICE for leveling alts, and grinding rep.

The random group finder is kind of meh, you really don't know what you're getting and it can make heroics frustrating. Thankfully I am a tank so Queue times are pretty short if my group ends up being a group of failtards.

Anyone play on Llane?
