I say good work and burn him and here's why...

I've been on a lot of boards for a lot of years and this is not the first one of these I've seen. While this one has not yet escalated, I've seen some that have. What I mean by escalated is the person "established" some cred on the boards and a post count. Then used to to subsequently try to sell stuff on the board and burn a bunch of people. Another guy (I think it was on an RX7 board) used it to steal another member's car after finding out where he lived at a meet.

I'm not saying this kid would do that, but considering the yahoos the Internet attracts, it DOES happen, so as harmless as he may be, he needs to be exposed as a liar, People can't trust this guy.

Who's with me on, if the kid were to tell us that he has been stealing other peoples photos and vin numbers, and took a 1 week ban, we'd let him be apart of the C5 Family?

Not necessary....he won't be back, he's been embarrassed enough. If he comes back, I'll probably just ignore anything he posts. He's lost ALL credibility......

Very true. He may not even be a young kid either. Could be 50, and a hardened criminal currently in jail. We just don't know.

I'm willing to bet no-one on these boards has ever met this liar.

Well Id say based upon the inconsistencies in his story hes probably not a 50 yr old man. Generally the perps I've seen have been "kids" (under 25), but thats not to say it can't happen.

It was only a month or so ago we had a member get scammed similarly out of some money.

Credibility on the forum means something to me. At first it didn't. But I've met, in person, a TON of people on here, and on numerous occasions. I have become good freinds with others. Me and my wife. (Ok, fake wife, lol) And plan on meeting more. I share a common interest with these guys and gals that happens to be something I'm passionate about.

So that being said, I do have a problem with someone fabricating an entire elaborate lie. He puts himself in a possition to easily scam someone. It's already happened. And he discredits guys like myself and hundreds of others on here who do actually take this place seriously.

Which is why I agree, if he were to appologize, and admit it. I'd be perfectly cool with it. But not until.

Call me pathetic. iDONT't care.
