I'm frankly tired of it and could care less if you don't like the fact that this is a camaro forum first. And were not going to allow the other cars section to over flow with mustang threads.

I agree that things need to be changed. 5.0 vs SS is what this forum is really about. All last year we had so many SS vs Mustang threads but they were all ok since the Camaro came out on top. Now that there is actual competition, this forum has taken the stance to squelch the discussions and reviews which favor the Mustang as if that will make it go away. Why make it go away when all the VS races and competition is actually good for both the Stang and the Camaro as it fuels the public's interest.

that's not the problem, the problem is we'll have dozens of threads for the same clip or something similiar. there's just too many threads regarding the mustang on a camaro forum. this a CAMARO site, not a CAMARO VS MUSTANG website

We get it, you hate the camaro since you got your mustang. Every post you make has a jab about how much better you like the mustang over the camaro. Your purpose for being here (from all of your posts) is for what? to try and convince others to sell their camaro or not buy one, and to buy the car that YOU like better? Again, no one is forcing you to be here, but you insist on staying here and complaining.

And now you're trying to call out the owner of the site with your thoughts about why he does things? Do you have any proof that he wants to force mustang owners off the site? I'm sure if he didn't want any mustang talk, all mustang discussion would be stricken immediately and the people posting about mustangs banned. I'm sure that he has the power to do so.

I welcome opinions always.. The owner of this site and the moderators have said they are tired of the Mustang talk, so my opinion about why everything was bunched up into a single thread is what I gather was partially the reason for it. What other sites have done with the Camaro or competition is also have an other cars area and in some cases sub forums for the main competition. That works very well and keeps discussions that are important alive and well. If you don't feel Mustang vs Camaro comparisons are important, then simply don't visit those threads. Plenty of threads to choose from. Why do you visit this thread for example?

you seem to assume that everyone who visits the other car forum wants to read about the 5.0, some people want to read about other cars. fact is, if you want a mustang site, you're in the wrong place

I visit the thread because it's my duty as a moderator. We have to visit all threads to make sure it doesn't get out of hand with personal insults and such.

With your post that I quoted, nowhere did you say partially the reason for it.

• We're not sick of the mustang talk, we're sick of the trolls/fanboys who feel the need to post on these forums solely to try and bash the camaro with every post.
• We're sick of 5 threads being posted within a matter of 15 minutes about the same mustang topic (read m3 vs. 5.0 video).
• We're sick of people going into a thread about two cars (neither of which is a mustang) and posting "My 5.0 is better than car A" when the discussion isn't about the mustang, it's about the two cars being compared on a track.
• We're sick of people not reading entire threads and feeling the need to post their opinions on the topic, which don't really contribute to the conversation except to say that the poster hates this and that about a website he chooses to be on.

Shall I continue?

It seems you don't really like your jobs then when it involves reading about the Mustang and that is understandable. However this is a Camaro forum and it is for certain the main competitor is the main reason both are going to get better and better. It's been quite a long time since the Mustang and Camaro are neck and neck in the power and handling dept. which makes for great discussions about each other. Yes you have fanboys on both sides but that is all part of the fun here. I like having discussions with other members on here and for the most part, they are good discussions. You as moderators may not like what I say, or how I've been saying certain things when I make the comparisons between the Mustang and the Camaro but that is how I feel. I always tell people who are interested in getting a muscle car to test drive all of them. That way they know which they like the best. My ramblings about the camaro's interior are valid and have been echoed by many. I still want to do my comparison between the two in the proper way so I am still driving my Mustang around some more to make it more fair of a comparison. It took a month or so for my Camaro to achieve break in and I'm still in break in period in my Stang. Once I take it to the track, I'll post my comparison of both. I have a friend that owns a Camaro so he'll be coming along as well. I have a lot to offer this forum, however if you don't want to hear what I have to say, or are annoyed by it, that is not my fault.
