http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/

A social aquaintence of mine, whom I spoke of a long time ago here, had a white TA w/ the Vortech Supercharger...I'm pretty sure it was something like this.

Let me tell you...he had that engine bored over too...it was a freakin monster!!! That was one of those situations where you said..."there's just too much hp here to handle and get to the pavement!"

That's a centrifugal supercharger, though...I thought those were a stay-away-from-it type of supercharger...

No he's got a whipple, usually when someone uses the term blown they're refering to roots style blower.

Not me personally, I'm usually referring to any supercharger. Then again, I'm a turbo-guy, so maybe the supercharger-guys have more specific terms.

yeah when someone says that they have a supercharger, for us it means like vortec (centrifugal) when they say blower, or blown its in for a roots style blower.

what do y'all think of Procharger...
I was reading their site and comparing them to others, and I must say, they look pretty impressive. However, as I have NO experience with FI, I thought I'd ask you guys....and gals.

I was starting to think that myslef. It's good to have some re-enforcement. Are they quality, though? I mean they've got that self-contained oil system thing, does that hamper durability, or quality?
