You only need to put the resistor across the circuit once. The rear lights are wired in parallel, so the second resistor is redundant. Having them in parallel with those resistors wont hurt though.

Will having the resistors installed cause a power drain? My ZL1 sat for 5 weeks and the battery was dead. I know to have it on a battery tender, but I thought that was still pretty quick on a power drain. I have one resistor installed on each LED, I had a few led's on just using one.

I have one installed, My car had been parked for 3 weeks last month, and no issues.

No problems with any power leakage on the ones i have installed and 1 resistor per side is all i used.

the resistors on the rear lights act as a sink for current that is already leaking because the reverse switch is crap.

Resistors or not, LED lights or not, when the lights are off the same power drain will exist. It's very little so you can get away with a quarter watt resistor. You only need 1 total. It's not a load resistor in the same sense as what you'll see thrown around when referring to things like can-bus led's.

The front blinkers are a completely different story.

5 weeks sounds about right.

Thank you! This helped me greatly in disconnecting the front bumper electrical connection. Was stuck on thinking the release of the red tab freed the connection.
