It mattered when you had to hold the door closed at 75 MPH because it would rattle open. It mattered when the tires dry rotted to sidewall failure and you had to change all four. It mattered when you had to replace the starter yourself to get it out of your garage.

that reminds me of that '89 F150 I used to drive at work all the time...... you had to take left turns SLOW! The door locks would lock, but you couldn't unlock them..... 5th gear worked occasionally..... and when it did, you had to hold it in gear..... power steering and brakes didn't work.... brake and fuel lines leaked..... long story short.... IT SUCKED

Here is a thread I started.........I am about finished. I had the full KooKs system installed a few month's ago " 1 7/8 headers , Hi-flo's , 3in. exhaust". Loving the new found power! I have a few cosmetic things left I want to do , but other than that I am pretty much finished........
