I will be done only a semester late, but thats ONLY because I did a semseter long internship that only accounted for 3 credit hours....

See, I don't like having to rely on my parents, but its nice that they do! But it's rare when it happens. She knows how much I am in love with this car and site though, so she does..But its also going to be 2 of my Christmas gifts! I have tried getting a job while here, but most of the places I applied to want at least a years experience. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET EXPERIENCE WHEN NO-ONE WILL HIRE ME BECAUSE THEY WANT EXPERIENCE???

yea, right now i am at like a 2.9...but thats with doing NO studying at ALL... if I would put even the smallest effort in, it would b higher.. plus if I don't like the subject matter (gen ed courses) I care that much less... For my major I need to keep above a 2.5 i believe...and am above that...and we a solid scale, no a- b+, just a, b, c, d, f

Isn't that the truth!!

Have you tried jobs on campus? (I'm sure you have). Or try tutoring if there is something you're really good at. Charge 15 for an hour session or something. You could even try seeing if local highschools might need tutors.

+1 for campus jobs.

i was a front desk lady for my major's building & worked the summer of 07 at the school's horse show arena. after i did practicum (like internship except on campus) in the audio shop, i got paid $500 to help install the new equipment we got for 2 studios over christmas

I checked SOME on campus jobs, but with is being a public university, they reserve a BUNCH of jobs for those on gov't aid and crap... Very few for those of us not on it... And their really isn't anything that I would like to tutor. I was in the National Honors Society in high school, and we HAD to tutor kids, and I REALLY didn't like it. When I find things easy (this was math) and people don't understand it...I get frustrated because I don't see how they don't understand!
