I keep looking at this Revolution Hood, what y'all think of it? JS.. I think you were looking it over at one time, did you decide yay or nay? I dunno.. I really like it in the first pic, but not from the angle in the second pic..

Yes, I think I agree about the different angles. My main new hood is the RK Sport one...we'll see. I do like the Revolutions though. I want one that has the air intake to the CAI as well as some heat extractors.

It's on the list...the future list

The problem I have in the 2nd pic is it looks too high/deep, and the lines are too sharp compared to the shape of the rest of the car.

I don't know if I'll go with CAI or not. I checked some prices and they didn't seem toooooo bad, just not sure how much it will gain. How much would a hood with "air intake to the CAI as well as some heat extractors." affect the performance of a CAI?

Myself ,until out of the warranty period....Jewell rocks, I think I wont play until that period is over or I say screw it and go ahead and jeopardize the warranty......After that ,One mean puppy !

If I were you...(which wont happen cause of A-6) switch to an X pipe...and maybe CAI.....possibly wait till GMPP comes out with the headers....leave the stock mufflers with the A trany...
Headers and x pipe and CAI will help the performance a little....without a drone ..... which you would not like with the A trany.....

Shit , its even possible ,changing to an x pipe may throw a mapp sensor code.....the computers now days will throw a code if you fart while driving
!
Hmmmm.... Unless the stock exhaust on the A6 finds some personality with road time, I was thinking my first change would be an axle back.

As far as warrenty.. I figure if a widget doesn't break in the first year of average driving, than it isn't defective anyway. And if it didn't break because it was defective, than warrenty doesn't matter. I know y'all like to talk warrenty this.. warrenty that.. but honestly, with all the vehicles I've owned, I've NEVER had something fixed under warrenty.

I can take it

Yes, the exhaust does getter deeper after some breaking in. I think the CAI adds a bit of HP and at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) it makes a noticeable sound difference. Also with Cat-Back adds a nice sound, not much, if any HP.

I'm not into the stinger hood... I will still keep my eye on the RK Sport hood. They're also fairly local to me so I can shoot up there to check it out.

So little time, even so much less $
More $ in June when daughter #1 turns 18!!
Yes, divorced :( Oh well...
