Congrats on the retirement DE I'm so happy for you, I just hope I live long enough! But either way we are having the time of our lives so what does it matter?

Now on to Christmas, I have almost finished shopping, but probably won't stop. The neighbors are embarrassing us, it looks like Santa's lighted forest in our neighborhood and our house is dark! Isn't it better to light a single candle, then to curse the darkness? I'm going with that, so if you see somebody standing in the middle of their lawn with only a lit candle, it's me!

I'm with you. I live in a townhouse community where people have "stamp size" front yards, but does that stop them from putting up every inflatable holiday figure, a 100 peice life-size Creche Scene, and enough lights to make Fremont Street envious? Nooooooooo....

Of course, it doesn't help that the association picks the top 3 decorated houses for $100, $50 and $25 cash prizes. Too bad it doesn't cover the winner's electric bill increase.

OK, I admit to being a little sarcastic ... it's only a 50 peice life-size Creche Scene, not 100....
