Take your time and really find the gun you need. I've been looking at the XD9 for personal carry and the only problem is it's kinda bulky because the ammo is double stacked. S&W has a new 9 out called the shield see if you can find one and check it out. We both live in states where it's mostly shorts, t-shirts and flip flops and trying to hide a gun can be a problem. Just don't have buyers remorse.

thanks for the heads up. I'm open to any gun. as i've said. i'm a complete noob. lol I'll listen to what the gun shop thinks, and hold different guns and fire a few. Kind of like picking out the right car, and i don't think i picked too bad in that department.
