Problem is that I have no idea how I'm going to get progressive to approve ins. in less than an hour. Let alone get proof.

I'm hoping I can just get the title (which in MI also serves as a quasi BOS) and keys and pay him cash right there, then come up tomorrow with meine freunde to pick it up and not really inconvenience either of them.
Here in Oklahoma you have 7 days after date of purchase to acquire the insurance. But they also require a seperate bill of sale from the title in order to verify sales price.

P.S. - omg... now she's worried about losing her bluetooth if she disables the mic...

I paid 650 for my bike. But we fudged the BOS to say 100 bucks.

I paid about 6 bucks in taxes.. I'm guessing this'll run me a little over 100 bucks. 72 tax, and 34 plating. 1300 bucks for a V8 Berlinetta..

Then comes the part where I have to buy brake fluid and a 23 buck T/hose fitting to replace the bad part on the car.

When ever I get a car , I just call the ins. co. up and tell them to add such and such to my policy and it's done , should be no big deal unless you are a first time customer

And they can send you a proof of insurance card by email or fax and your ready to go

I have a friend(female) coming into town this weekend. She has managed to anger me quite a bit throughout the course of this week because I am a last minute, wing it kind of guy when it comes to doing things. She expects me to have every second planned. That's not how I roll. Aside from that, she asked if she should bring any dresses, and here, in the middle of Illinois, there really isn't any place you need to wear a dress to, and I told her this, and she got angry with me. My question comes as a result of all this anger, and the fact of her mentioning it a few times... Would it be wrong of me to make her sleep on the couch? Another thing to note: She is a friend of mine from working at Disney, she is only coming from Chicago and things may or may not have happened back in Orlando. I believe she thinks things will happen this weekend, and I do NOT want them to, nor will I let them. However, I don't want to deal with all those issues. She is also very clingy...(I HATE CLINGY! I need my space!) So, would it be wrong to make her sleep on the couch the few nights she is here?

BTW: I will attempt to wake up in enough time to read the answers to this post before heading to class at 10 am CST...Thats about 7.5 hrs from now... I will also be checking the responses while in class. She arrives right as I get out of class at noon. This also means I probably won't be on hear too much this weekend:(... THANKS for ANY and ALL input!

and on that note, I am off to bed....
I would never tell a woman not to wear a dress, that is so sexy to me. she's coming for a reason and if you are single why tell her to sleep on the couch. If it's that much of an annoyance tell her not to come. Im a detailed kind of guy and I like to plan stuff to the second, i have yet to meet a woman who is the same way...embrace it..lmao...otherwise if you dont care about her...pimp the situation....hit it put her azz on the couch and then send her back home.....

I have the 'rents Ins. on my truck right now. I'm covering this on my own dime. So it'll be a new policy. I've worked with (and love) progressive. But they need the Vin (as do other companies) and I don't have it on me.

So that all can be taken care of tonight if need be.
