That's not how I roll. Aside from that, she asked if she should bring any dresses, and here, in the middle of Illinois, there really isn't any place you need to wear a dress to, and I told her this, and she got angry with me. My question comes as a result of all this anger, and the fact of her mentioning it a few times.. Would it be wrong of me to make her sleep on the couch? Another thing to note: She is a friend of mine from working at Disney, she is only coming from Chicago and things may or may not have happened back in Orlando. I believe she thinks things will happen this weekend, and I do NOT want them to, nor will I let them. However, I don't want to deal with all those issues. She is also very clingy...(I HATE CLINGY! I need my space!) So, would it be wrong to make her sleep on the couch the few nights she is here?

BTW: I will attempt to wake up in enough time to read the answers to this post before heading to class at 10 am CST...Thats about 7.5 hrs from now... I will also be checking the responses while in class. She arrives right as I get out of class at noon. This also means I probably won't be on hear too much this weekend:(... THANKS for ANY and ALL input!

and on that note, I am off to bed....

Who died and made her boss...........doesn't she know that Chicago is windy? Let her know you are not planning on getting into a serious relationship until you are at least 27 yrs old. Don't put your self in a position that makes you need to defend the way your feel. Tell her ahead of time to have a Plan B if things don't work out and at least you have warned her.

lol....

seriously tho, why is she coming down again?

dont treat her badly/mean. but make sure you set the ground rules if you really dont want "things" to happen. she can sleep on the couch. tho dont be suprised if you wake up and you're tied to the bedposts and she's wielding a sledge hammer to shatter your legs.... wait... what were we talking about again?

whatever happens, happens.

Morning Zabo - find a second yet?

Also - I replied to the onstar tin-foil hat thread. Spike, you might want to go check it out yourself.

DAVE:

The best advice I can give you man is to go with your gut (which you seem to be the go with your gut kind of guy anyway) - if your gut tells you to make her sleep on the couch, make her sleep on the couch. Easy as that.

OMG! Screw that godd*** thread! The OP is so caught up in "Why do I have to explain myself? Why can't I make my own decisions?" that I don't think she's even reading posts anymore!

I told her exactly how to do it: Find the onstar computer, which is probably behind a trim piece somewhere like the trunk, and unplug it. DONE!

I'm starting to think she's just trolling for attention.

Probably... just pisses me off that she goes on and on about how nobody wants to help her and how everybody wants her to justify herself and completely misses those of us that actually ARE giving solid advice.

I mean, I did a ton of research and took apart the entire onstar system in my dad's HHR to figure out how to disable the GPS for him. Unless the camaro has a completely different system (which is highly, highly unlikely. The costs would be pointless), then I know what I'm talking about.

The ONLY surefire way to disable anything in the onstar system is to remove the computer (which isn't that hard once you find the thing. Its just a plug...) because the computer has a built in battery.

Not yet. Guy I already asked to do it tuesday lives the next building over. He's also a partner working on the Cessna. Problem is that I have no idea if he's working later today or not.. so it could be a rushed transaction.

He agreed. So..

Problem is that I have no idea how I'm going to get progressive to approve ins. in less than an hour. Let alone get proof.

I'm hoping I can just get the title (which in MI also serves as a quasi BOS) and keys and pay him cash right there, then come up tomorrow with meine freunde to pick it up and not really inconvenience either of them.
