I read somewhere that the assembly lines at Corvette produce 160 cars per day when operating at full capacity. Anyone know if that is true. Wish had a webcam there so we could each see our car being built. I would pay a fee for that privilege.

Quick question. Do you happen to know if the cars ship
to New England from BG via truck or train? I have been reading about
large backlogs for cars shipping by train for all makes. Especially shipping to the west coast. (RPXR4T MA)

I did the buyer's tour two weeks ago. Day one there was a goal of 148 cars. Day two was bumped up to about 160.

Sounds like day one was a nine hour shift and day two a ten hour shift. Bowling Green has been scheduling one or two hours of overtime for some time now. Their normal schedule is five days of eight hours each per week.

I have done the regular tour which I found fascinating but I know the buyer tour allows one to see more and to see more detail. Good move on your part. -L-
