I remember seeing a Plymouth Duster with Dodge Demon emblems on it back in the 60's, and in the 70's I saw a Chevy Monza with Oldsmobile Starfire emblems on the rear, and a Ford Granada that had the Granada grill and emblems on the front but had Mercury Monarch tail lights and emblems on the rear.

The first Envoy we were going to buy back in 2002 was badged as a GMC TrailBlazer.

We took the identical one sitting next to it. With correct badging.

The W-body Impala Limited will be in production clear to 2016.

We're going to have plenty of no-frills, reliable secondhand daily drivers to choose from for many more years.

Maybe but I think an LT1 ATS with a 6 speed manual would be a beast of a car.

It would be and if the CTS V had the same engine it would outperform it. Could be why they chose not to use it.

Maybe but I would think the CTS-V gets a supercharged 6.2 like the last one.

They wouldn't use a NA 6.2 for the CTS-V, not enough of a difference in performance from the Vsport model.

Probably, and the most likely alternative to a supercharged 6.2 would be a turbocharged 6.2.
