But in greater news, got my appointment for my cam and other junk to be installed pushed back a week and my dad agreed to take the car off my hands for a week or two after the upgrades to break in the new rear gears driving to work and back.......I know it will be a huge sacrifice for him to drive a nice new sports car to and from work for a couple weeks.

That is awful to hear. The only bad thing About that is when he will have to give up the car to you.
