I understand. But what I'm saying is it's been okay in society now to ask for money. If it had been I need money because going to lose house, or I can't get groceries for my kids I am first to help. But so he can look cool? That is laziness.

Besides he is only a Junior in Highschool.. That means two years before he will be taking trip. I pretty sure I can raise alot of money working with no bills if I needed to.

I just left it alone. Cuddos to the kid for trying. But I can see JRs point too. I never had ANYTHING handed to me. BUT, I never asked.

And question PQ.. Would you ask now if you wanted something? Or would you work harder to get something you want? My entire point is people are asking for handouts first before trying to work for it.

Im sorry.......I disagree with the way it was approached..... When you say something disgusts you like you did it is basically a personal attack. JMO....and just like you I am allowed to voice it. There is no reason to have the tough guy attitude when you can type with some common courtesy just as easy.

yeah I see your point..and he is just a junior so he has a lot to learn, just some of the responses are/were a little harsh (not saying yours was)

lol dont worry nobody is perfect dang near everyone on this forum has posted something they regret.
