Here in Oregon the OSP uses Hemi Chargers and Vics's. Almost without fail all the OSP troopers prefer the Hemi Chargers.
If I am not mistaken the issue with them exploing has been fixed. I know the Vic is not really usually the favorite, but I thought was because of the lack of power and interior comfort.

Sadly not all Crown Vics have been refitted with the non-explosive rear end issue.

Since the sho is a 4350lb car, using your logic it would weight right smack at 4000lbs, Which is wishful thinking, and that is the truth. But I know, you love to spin anything to make ford look better whether the facts are there or not, its cool bro.

edit: Very intresting assumptions you made towards me.
They weren't assumptions, if you knew something of significance about it then I wouldn't have to explain to you how it's entirely plausible for an Interceptor to shed a few hundred pounds relative to a Taurus SHO.

You're out of your league here, I did it for a living for many years, don't embarass yourself.

Not to come in here and defend Ford. They did beat the piss out of the Taurus in testing with law enforcement standards groups. It surpasses the Crown Vic in every area. Can jump a curb at 40MPH and get hit from the rear at 75MPH. Only time will tell how well it holds up in the real world.
