It's easy to make fun of these people - but the sad reality is - these people are actually feeling this way.

When you compare living on Pandora (for argument sake - assume it would be possible) to living here on Earth - of course Earth may seem dismal or "lacking" for a better term.

The connections humans make with others is the key to happiness - case and point - this forum. What are you all doing here if not making connections with others?

The fictional Na'vi race has a much more "efficient" means of creating these connections through their hair tentacles (whatever they are) but not only can the form these connections with other Na'vi but with plants and animals and the world itself. How fricken amazing is that?? Of course that would be awesome.

I can sympathize for the people who long for that type of connection to others and the world - but I won't make fun of them for being dissatisfied with their own lives - even if they are going to the extreme. The problems obviously stem from some depression related to their own lives that is already in progress.

The thing is - connections like that can be made here on Earth, and there are beautiful places to live and see - I hope those people eventually figure that out.

on a side note.... Brandotron.... your avatar makes me want to commit suicide....

lmao yes I'm joking, I dont want to kill myself. that would be stupid like the people that really feel that way.
