It is crystal clear GM wants the Camaro to die.
I am denial like most of you but I believe it to be true. Look at the buzz Ford has created: GT500, Mach E, Mach 1, Bronco. GM? Hey, you can get blue stripes on the C8 whenever we decide to build 2021s. GM can't even prime the pump on the just-announced ev pickup or the reborn Hummer brand. The repeated showing of the blue camaro ev on their social media from a few years ago is nauseating. I wish GM would offer the following: 1. LT2 heads/camshaft/Intake manifold for use on the SS models. 2. LT3 (the developed and then shelved high output version of the truck 400ci engine) for a Z/28 or even package it into the 1LE SS. 3. LT5 for the ZL1. |

Agreed...GM is doing the ZL1 a disservice by not offering the LT5 for the ZL1. Should of been a option from 2020 on. I can't believe they would spend the money on R&D to develop a engine for 1yr of production.
