That officer is a confirmed a-hole if what you said is correct.

Also be aware that in most states there is no points (fine only) if within a specified mph. In Michigan, I usually write 60 in a 55 with true speed in the remarks. That way, no points, but if they fight it, I have their 81 in a 55 noted.
so your saying out of state tickets dont take points off your license??

i got one in NY once, i was goin 70 in a 65(never had a ticket) and the cop says he gunned me at 82...even though i live 9hrs from the twn, i fought it lol(guy never showed) but in CT i was actually speeding(80 in a 65(dang NY cop jinxed me lol) but he wrote i was goin 75...so does that take any points away?

tisk, tisk... I NEVER went to court for my tickets, just did the safety school, its cheaper here to just do it. Besides cops in this town have NOTHING better to do than show up to their court dates!

You are going to court, dress nice!

Here in IL, you can take traffic school once every year! So I slow it down a bit, until that year is up!! LOL

Got one better for you. I got, fought in court and had to pay a ticket for 36 in a 35 when I was in college.

Asshole cop, asshole judge....
