Seriously, though -- Buick and Lexus are and will be compared to one another, because they are really similar...and personally, I suppose I've just always seen Buick as inferior to Cadillac, which is in the same league as BMW/Audi. Quote:

I'm trying, but the more a see it , it looks like a fancy cobalt. Buick still seems like the old man's car to me. I know they love them in china and that's why I think they kept them around.

As for Buick and Lexus being similar, I don't think that really holds true outside of the reality that they each compete in the 'near luxury' segment for both cars and suv's, Buick with the Enclave and LaCrosse and Lexus with the ES and RX. Outside of that, there is zero similarity between Buick and any other Lexus. As for Cadillac, at the moment there is no way we can really argue that Cadillac plays on the same level as Lexus does, they simply do not possess enough truly premium level offerings, even Infiniti comes closer since their lineup is currently more fleshed out in many respects. Cadillac absolutely has full premium brand aspirations, but until the CTS finally grows into a properly sized 5-Series competitor and they sprout a 7-Series/LS/S-Class/A8 competitor they just aren't flush enough with cars. |

If that car really is comparable in size to a Malibu(and I don't doubt Fen one bit), those pictures are incredibly misleading. It looks ALOT smaller to me.
So I'll reserve judgement until I see one in person. Except on the interior. It rocks.

I've gotta say I'm kinda surprised, this might actually be one of the better threads I've seen on this forum....ever. Thus far you've had a few GM die hards who don't like it and a Ford devotee or two who do, a lot of diversity here and the thread has still remained mostly civilized.
