Not sure I agree.
When a PGA golfer wins a tournament that Tiger was invited to but decides not to play, is the winner of that tournament the best golfer?? |

GM won because people are having this discussion on this board, TTAC, Jalopnik, BMW boards, Cadillac boards, Mercedes boards, etc.
Cadillac is being discussed in the same sentence that people are talking about cars like the M Series. It's a win. |

But it wasnt about Bob Lutz it was about the CTS-V.... it said right in the press release that there would also be pro drivers fot the CTS-V to make sure the best time would be squeezed out of the car.

And it I'm sure that MB or Jag or BMW could have brought cars with top notch drivers if they wanted to as well. But they didn't.

Absolutely, and even if MB, etc. brought their best drivers and sedans in the class and won-it would still have the same real results as long as the race was close. We'd still have people talking about Cadillac with the premier brands.
