We all can't forget THIS CLASSIC...

Also, here's a nice clip of a mustang making a ricer wet his pants.
Check the ricer brake as the cobra pulls on him like he's on a rubber band.

A limited edition rotary turbo mustang gtr with intercooler and headers. Wow, it probably had a pulley swap too.

You know what's really sad?

Being a graveyard shift worker, I spend a lot of time on car forums at night, and I've found that I get a more mature crowd on domestic forums than I do on some of the import forums I'm on.

Guys that own Civics and Celicas are some of the worst ricer fanboys out there.

Oh, and I can't leave out the Mustang guys....they are idiots sometimes too.

But for the most part, the LS1 guys on Tech are pretty cool.

Strangely enough, I have more fun cruising with the f-body and vette guys on the highway than I do the ricer crowd around town.

Oh well...I guess 'rice' is more of a state of mind than an import.

My 2 cents.

Again.

Can't forget bmw fanboys.

I'd rather have a drift car ("go" modded hachi roku, sil-eighty, rex or a supra) then a civic. Even a Celica gt4 if I lived in snow country. I don't really care or call people ricers if they have the big wings and body kits and what not, it's only if it's half assed. Bumper doesn't match body color, muffler sounds like shit, zip ties are visible etc.

If you're gonna put a body kit and rims and wings on your car, don't claim you're a racer, if you do it for car shows and strictly for car shows, that's fine.

If you put a shopping cart handle on, and then do flybys or rev at other people, that's what makes you a ricer. I know a few people with widebody MR-2's (SW20) and eclipses that have put thousands of dollars into show features for their car. They drive like they're in a luxury car, they don't rev at anyone, but they go to shows and their cars just LOOK AMAZING. Even a few awards have been taken home. These guys are all show and no go. They don't claim it's fast, they wanted a show car and they keep it that way. That is not a ricer in my opinion.
