I hope to have a collection one day myself. Damn, I do love these muscle cars but they make for an expensive hobby. May go old school and buy a 60's or 70's something. If my wife has her way, It'll be a 67-68 Camaro, me, a 70's Cuda. Russ.

I started out shopping for a 60-70 MOPAR, ('67 GTX, '70 Challenger T/A) but when Dodge built the Challenger concept I decided to go modern, better handling, better MPG, a warrantee, a lower risk of rust!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Challenger and if I wasn't such a Chevy girl I might have considered it. But, this will be my third Camaro, and I'm totally hooked. I agree with some others...wish I could afford them both because I agree that the retro look of the Challenger was incredibly well done. As a matter of fact we were with a friend of ours the other day who had not seen one yet and he downright argued that it was from the 60's!!!! Oh well..enjoy your ride. I know I will enjoy mine when it gets here any day now!

too be honest, I always say I would take a camaro hands down, but some of these Challenger pics are just beautiful.

I needed 4 doors so I settled for 361 HP and 385 ft/lbs of torque.

The SRT8 was my next choice if it wasn't for the Camaro. Honestly they are some badass cars.

Nothing quite like it. The SRT isnt trying to be a top dog performer, its just got a ton of character.

Just last night I saw one of those metallic red r/ts with a front to back offset very light silver stripe (almost like titanium white) about 8 inches? wide with a little pin stripe on each side of the stripe and it had been lowered. It looked seriously badass.

Saw a IOM (I don't know what Dodge call's their colors) R/T Challenger going down the interstate, and it looked very nice.

Challenger

Wow,
I thought I was the only guy with a Challenger and a Camaro. Actually, I have a Hemi Orange SRT8 six speed and have a Inferno Orange Camaro on order and will be here soon.
I love both cars. My Challenger kicks but. Its like you get possessed when you drive it. All it wants to do is go go go.
I have aftermarket exhaust and racing headers..
I love both cars and hope GM and Dodge make a lot of money and keep all employed. Go America..!!

I bought a Camaro but it wasn't "speaking" to me. It was a ZR1 that "spoke" to me and I totally saw me in it but.....my wallet gave it the "hand".

They have always held a fascination for me, regardless of make, model or year: They are simply very cool. My first was a 74 Camaro (almost a 67), my current, a 09 Challenger. When my wife and I decided to buy a muscle car, we considered them all. She was hooked on the Camaro and I was leaning towards the Challenger, but was intrigued by the new Camaro. I have always loved Mopar, particularly the 70's Cuda's and Road Runner's.

In making my decision, I recognized I'm not 16 years old anymore, I knew I would not be racing every other muscle car I saw on the street, and I would not be running from the police or chasing my buddies on neighborhood streets with tight turns. I did know that when I found the right car, it would "speak" to me and there would be no doubt it was the right car. For me, that car is the Challenger - I have never loved a car like I do this RT. It has everything I wanted and more. Plus, my wife fell in love with it as soon as she test drove it. Plus, plus, I can modify it and turn it into a "super" muscle car with over 1000 hp if I want to.

Regardless, for those of you sitting on the fence as to which car you want, wait till you find "the one." For me, my Challenger is the most kick ass car on the road - any road. Give me a Ferrari and I would sell it to buy more Challengers (OK, maybe even a Camaro for Sundays and a Shelby Mustang for Mondays). Do some research, be patient and don't base your entire decision on magazine articles, peer pressure or opinions from all knowing "experts."

Now, let the barbecue begin...
well said........im the same way and my mustang for sure "spoke" to me.
