Very true - see above link. I think the reason they stayed with the iron block is better durability over an aluminum block while taking high boost levels.

Its sick but all that extra hardware with no talk of weight savings. The current SRT weighs a hair under 4200 pounds. All these extra components and I'd bet money on a curb weight of around 4450 pounds. So it will need almost 650 HP to play with a ZL1 and over 700 to even be at a GT500's door.

It's not going to be 70k it's supposed to be in the same range as the ZL1 and they have mentioned several times in the videos weight reduction measures. It will weigh less than the current SRT
