How did I miss this thread? Awesome puppy.

I did the noise test too when I picked out my boxer. The boy I took home was the only one that ran up after I dropped my keys on the ground. He was neither shy nor timid his entire life.

thanks everyone!

We love having the NOT so Tiny Titan...
we just started our advanced training and will test this coming Wednesday for his first AKC recognition test STAR puppy, then we complete the 6 weeks and go for out CGC (canine good citizen test) after a year old we will go for the CCGC (community good canine citizen) and TDI (therapy dog).

We may start some nose work here soon and see how he does with that, but right now we are working towards the therapy thing, at first while he is still growing we will be doing programs such as reading with rover, where children or adults with reading disabilities read to the dog. This lowers there self conscious and gives them motivation to read. We will do the Obvious nursing home visits and children's hospitals.

At about 18 months of age (when the growth plates start to fuse and become solid, we will start working on some weight bearing therapy where children with walking disabilities will use Titan as stability while they are encouraged to walk.

We have lots of high hopes for the boy! of course as things start to really get going I will post pics! looking for silly costumes and things to aid in our therapy work, costumes are fun for the kids and also distracts from the massive size of the puppy!!!!

Good Girl! Very very nice of you to help others. Titan looks awesome! Boy is he gett'n Big.

We use to take Fred to nursing homes and he was a regular at the VA. It's amazing how happy they can make people feel.

You have a good heart, Bravo to you!

I have a great dane too. She's a female harlequin. I'll try to get some pictures up at some point. Couldn't ask for a better dog, even though she took over one of our couches

Thanks Norma!!! he sure is (getting big)... we still have some of the CRAZY puppy things we have to work out of him... damn teenagers!!!! I had a schnauzer that would visit nursing homes in the past but we were limited due to the lack of the TDI certs... but the happiness on those patients that were bed ridden makes it all worth the time and money... and now that I am working on the certifications the right way, I can see so many more of these priceless moments from young and old!!!

Sweet Baby Jesus!
It's looking like you may need to trade in for a convertible to fit the dog. When I was a kid growing up we had an old convertible that we used to take the dog in because he could fit with the top down. Nice to see a update on how big he is growing.
