Both Roger Rodas and Paul Walker died in that accident. Roger was Pauls driver for his team Always evolving. Stopped by the crash site this morning and still see some debris left over. . The stench of fuel and fire still strong. ...a sad day indeed. One of the few celebrities I have met and really liked. R.I.P. Paul Walker.

I as well. Paul and I were born within weeks of each other. I can relate to him on many levels.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

RIP, at least he was having a good time right before impact, I'm sure.

And LOL at the composites comments about catching fire... That car could have been made of fire retardant fabric ( technically you can't burn carbon fiber cloth ) and when it's split in half like that and gasoline gets spilled everywhere you will see a ball of fire regardless.

Sad accident though.

Professional? Not! no professional would drive 80 plus in a 45mph public street.

Still was a professional. And as stupid as it is I'm sure we've all destroyed posted speed limits at one point or another

RIP Paul , Love the Fast and Furious movies and he will be missed , he was due back in Atlanta Tuesday to film "key scenes" for #7 movie involving him , needles to say the movie is on hold now .
Now as far as the driver was Roger Rodas he was driving a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that he owned ,l He was NOT a professional driver , He was a financial adverser for Paul along with others in Hollywood , They were doing a benefit/ car show for Reach out Worldwide to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort , Paul died doing what he loved and this should be a warning to all of us to be careful while playing with the cars we own , things can go bad in a instant and a heavy price could be paid . Thoughts and prayers to Paul's 15 year old daughter and the rest of his family and friends !
