Its android all the way for me. I refuse to get locked into Apples world. What I mean is, if Apple does not approve of it, you cannot install it on your device. My wife has an iphone, and the the application needed to add just music is the most convoluted, confusing application I have ever seen. Plus every time we turn the PC on guess what we are greeted with? An update to itunes.
I love my Galaxie Note and will as long as Apple allows it to work.
So to answer the OPs question, probably not.

I don't necessarily like it but they did do all the R&D and have a right to protect it.
Ya, cause a rectangle with rounded corners took years of R&D. Crapple is just tying to kill competition for their device.

Not going to debate you on this topic...but it is so much more than rounded corners. That's the great thing about Enterprise, you don't like something, there are alternatives.

And this is why I have now decided to not get the iPhone.

All my apple gadgets have the original adaptor.

Name one feature that they invented. Every technology in the iPhone existed before the iPhone. Apple just did a great job of making it work well together.

If the world followed your logic there would only be on television you could buy, one clothes washer, one car, etc...

You're right, they did not invent anything...they only filed thousands of patents that the courts uphold. Stupid Apple! Also it's not logic, it is business as usual. Many companies develop technologies and either sell them or place them under a patent.

Maybe you should learn a few things before you spout off...

You should probably follow your own advice. A patent doesn't mean you invented anything. I can go file a patent right now for a Start Trek like transporter that says if you get on pad A it will beam you to pad B. It doesn't mean that I invented a single thing.

Samsung was specifically forbidden from arguing the patent system as it exists now in their case. Which is part of the current problem. IP patents were not designed for modern technology.

And Apple only won their case in the US. They lost sorely everywhere else. Also, the patents for the real technology behind the phones was all dismissed because it was too complex. Apple only won on their design and gesture patents. Not technological patents.

Every gesture or effect patent they sued Samsung before already existed in other forms, just not phones. But patent law is so screwed up that Apple actually won their case here.

So check your facts before you spout off.

Ah but saying Apple never invented anything is ludicrous and although a patent does not indicate that the company invented it, most often they have invented it. The great news is that you don't have to buy Apple, Motorola, Samsung, or anyone else if you don't want to. You obviously have an axe to grind with Apple and have ZERO facts to back up your "Apple never invented anything" spout.
