My new years resolution, bringing my camaro with ABS!

Like 230 right now but I fluctuate 10 pounds at the drop of a hat. I have pretty much endless endurance for walking and stuff but I need to figure out how to get rid of my keg so I can get a 6pack lol. I know it starts with healthy eating and plenty of exercise. Trying to adopt a dog to help motivate my ass to keep both of us exercising. I guess my goal is somewhere around 200 by the end of summer.

The two biggest reasons people don't eat right are I don't have time and my job/schedule does not allow it. If you are serious about fat loss or weight loss both are lame excuses that can easily be remedied.
I appreciate some of your thoughts BUT some of us have to work. If I have to travel alot how do I tell my office I need to lose weight so I can't travel. That will lead to me not having a job. Yes I may have to come up with some creative ways to eat but I need some assistance with that.

Thanks BB and SSMOKINHOT for the advice. I do eat a lot of chicken. Only 1% milk etc. I go out to eat once a week (my cheat day to keep me sane). etc. I was doing pretty good but I hit a plateau... Plus my exercise was put on hold until the power supply for my bike came in. 4DD batteries every week got expensive! I am determined this time I am surprised I only gained back 5 pounds over the holidays, but I made sure to get the lite foods. I'm also weird in that I am not a candy freak, I don't love chocolate like most people do my friends think I am weird because of it.
My biggest problem is that I eat once maybe twice a day. I really need to eat smaller more frequent meals. It is difficult with my sometimes chaotic schedule. Sometimes I will be out measring a site and be there for 6-8 hours and by the time I am done I am starving and thirsty, even though I still eat the right foods, my body has gone into survival mode so I store all the calories I eat when I do eat. My buddy tells me his is probably the one thing that is holding me back, that and exercise. I have moved my bike to in front of the TV BB lol it does help, I hardly watch TV though haaa. If I could find a way to mount my laptop on the handle bars I might be in business. LMAO

Thanks for the calorie chart CFD and the motivation Bonnie.

Thanks everyone else for all your input!
Yeeeeeup....nail on the head right there!! YOU NEED TO EAT!!!!!! Eating only twice a day is putting your body into starvation mode...it doesn't know when it is going to get fed again so it saves every single calorie it can hold on to!! Try carrying "easy to eat" things with you on site. Try taking a little hand held cooler filled with string cheese, apples, bananas, almonds, yogurt etc. Do you get busy and "forget" to eat? Set a timer on your cell phone!

Cheat meals are the best!! Like you said, helps keep you accountable all week because you know there is a reward in sight! Plus, those who plan cheat meals tend to be able to stick with eating healthy for the long haul which equals LONG TERM RESULTS!!!!

Believe me I have to work as well. You can eat and travel at the same time, as you say you may have to be a little creative but we are here to help. When you travel is it by car or some mode of travel where eating is prohibited.

I weigh once a week on Monday when I first wake up and check BF with an Omron BF monitor, not perfect but gives me an idea. As long as I can see a six pack I know I'm 8% or less.

Today I weighed 157 and 8.5% BF.

Today was my first workout for 2012 and was Chest and Biceps. I just came off a 5x5 workout (5 sets of 5 reps HEAVY) and am moving back to a more normal 3 sets of 8-10 reps workout. I change my workout routine every 90 days doing the same body parts, but different exercises to help avoid plateaus.

Incline Dumb Bell Press - 70/70/70 10/9/8
Flat Dumb Bell Press - 70/70/70 8/7/8
Dumb Bell Fly - 35/35/35 10/11/10 (go heavier next week)
Standing Dumb Bell Curl - 40/40/40 8/8/8
Preacher Dumb Bell Hammer Curl - 25/25/25 12/12/12 (go heavier next week)
Cable Curl - 100/100/100 10/9/8

No cardio in the winter.....I save that for the spring so I can focus calories on building size/shape.
You sir, are a machine.

And I want to get this: (Cybex Arc Trainer)

Attachment 320731

I work so much I just don't have time to drive to a gym that has one, the gym I go to doesn't have this, but I'm trying to get to the point where I have my own mini gym at home!
I love the Arc trainer. Found one on Craigslist for 1999. Going to check woodlands online too. Im between getting that or a stair stepper, stair steppers are cheaper. Idk.

I work 40 hours a week, go to class, study my butt of, make time for my friends, and still find time to fit in 3-5 workouts a week. If you set your mind to it you will find the time.
